Within walking distance of Water Tower Lodge, are stores, eateries, churches and the following featured attractions:

The Barry’s Bay Farmers’ Market is located just a few short steps away from the front doors of Water Tower Lodge at the old train station in downtown Barry’s Bay. Featuring a bountiful array of local produce and crafts in an outdoor, sociable atmosphere. There are many handmade, homemade and fresh items to enjoy. Open May through October.

The South of 60 Arts Centre, located in the historic and restored Barry’s Bay Railway Station, is the areas largest public art gallery, focusing on the Ottawa Valley’s rich artistic heritage.

The Barry’s Bay and Area Public Library is located adjacent to Water Tower Lodge.

Water Tower Lodge residents are welcome and encouraged to join the neighboring Opeongo Seniors Center and enjoy many of their social activities.
